Amazing!!! Allison and staff were outstanding! We had a great lunch, fish and chips, monkfish scampi, sauteed scallops and Cullen skink soup. Beautiful food great view and lovely staff they have plenty of gluten free options too
What a fantastic place to find. As a coeliac the first question when going somewhere for food is 'do you sell anything that is gluten free'. The three young ladies in the Fisherman's Kitchen assured me that almost everything they sell is gluten free. They have the biggest range that I have seen in one establishment. Excellent service and boundless knowledge of their products, coupled to very competitive prices make this a 'must go-to'. We will be visiting there many times while touring the area.
The Fish Shack was such a great find! There’s no set menu, just whatever’s fresh and available that day, which adds to the charm. Everything we had was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed the fried haddock on a wrap (delicious!), steamed mussels, and classic fish and chips. The girls behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming, and there are picnic benches out front, which made for a perfect casual dining experience. A laid-back, authentic seafood stop you won’t want to miss!
Monkfish scampi and salad! Best fish and chips I had in the UK. I will never eat fish and chips from anywhere else.
Delicious and with a beautiful view. Every item we had here was seriously good. You won’t go wrong getting anything here. We had 1/2kg smoked salmon, 1/2kg smoked mackerel, a roll absolutely stuffed with langoustine tails and salmon, a sizeable cup of Cullen Skink, and 4 plain rolls for 30 total!
Best fried fish ever- not greasy, fish was tender, flaky and glistening! Mussels were delicious too
